The Basanta Satapathy Memorial Lecture is organized every year on the author’s birth anniversary, i.e. on 26th June. Distinguished intellectuals, litterateurs, and eminent personalities from across the country have delivered memorial lectures on this occasion. Notable speakers in this series include Indian critics Harish Trivedi, Malashri Lal, Mohammad Asaduddin, and Manoj Das, among others.
