ବସନ୍ତ ଶତପଥୀଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଓ ସୃଜନକୁ ନେଇ ନିର୍ମିତ ଏହି ୱେବ୍ସାଇଟ୍ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟର କିମ୍ବଦନ୍ତୀ କଥାଶିଳ୍ପୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏକ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା-ନିବେଦନ। ବସନ୍ତ ଶତପଥୀ କେବଳ ଜଣେ ଗାଳ୍ପିକ ନଥିଲେ, ସାହିତ୍ୟର ଅନେକ ବିଭବ ଯଥା ଅନୁବାଦ, ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧ, ସମାଲୋଚନା, ସମ୍ପାଦନା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଅବଦାନ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ। ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତାତ୍ତୋର ଭାରତୀୟ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଜଗତରେ ସେ ଥିଲେ ଜଣେ ଯଶସ୍ୱୀ ନାମ। ଏହି ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ରିପୋଜିଟରୀ ଜରିଆରେ ବସନ୍ତ ଶତପଥୀଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀ, ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ବିବରଣୀ, ତାଙ୍କ ରଚିତ ବହି ତଥା ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଆଲୋଚନା ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଫଟୋଗ୍ରାଫ୍ ଇତ୍ୟାଦିକୁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ପାଠକଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସହଜରେ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରାଯାଇଛି। ବସନ୍ତ ଶତପଥୀଙ୍କ ଅସାମାନ୍ୟ କଥା ପ୍ରତିଭାର ଦୁନିଆକୁ ଆଉଥରେ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ସହ ଏହି ସାରସ୍ୱତ ଯାତ୍ରାରେ ସାମିଲ୍ ହେବାକୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ।
